Table of Benefit
Trip Cancellation : If You are prevented from travelling due to the reason covered in Garuda Indonesia Travel Insurance and are forced to cancel Your trip, we will pay the paid and non-refundable portion to you.
Trip Alternation Medical Expenses
Trip Alternation: If You have to alter Your Trip due to reasons covered in Garuda Indonesia Travel Insurance, We will pay the reasonable and necessary additional costs incurred and paid by You to re-schedule Your Trip.
Medical Expenses Accompanying Person
Medical Expenses: We will reimburse You for the necessary and reasonable Medical Expenses You incurred and paid following an Injury or illness You suffered during Your Trip. For Domestic Journey it is limited to Accident only.
Accompanying Person: Returns the reasonable and necessary scheduled transportation expenses, accommodation and trip amendment expenses for accompanying person, in the case You are hospitalized during your trip.
Child Guard: In the case that You are traveling with Your Child and You are hospitalized during your trip and no other adult to accompany your Child, we will pay the reasonable and necessary transportation and accomodation for Immediate Family Member to look after and bring your Child home.
Hospital Cash Benefit
Hospital Cash Benefit: If a Medical Practitioner confines You to Hospital as an in-patient due to Injury or illness first occurring whilst on a Trip, We will pay you for each continuous 24 (twenty four) hour period of such Hospital Confinement.
Repatriation of Mortal Remains benefit
Repatriation of Mortal Remains benefit: If You unexpectedly die as the result of an Injury or illness while You are travelling Overseas on a Trip, We will pay the reasonable and necessary expenses incurred to repatriate Your mortal remains or for a funeral or cremation at the location of Your death up to the amount We would have paid if Your mortal remains was repatriated.
Early Return Home
Early Return Home: If after Your Trip has commenced You to have to curtail Your Trip and return Home earlier than Your original planned return date due to the reasons covered in Garuda Indonesia Travel Insurance, We will pay for the following if You cannot get back the expenses incurred from any other source.
Trip Interruption: Pays extra charges for transportation and accomodation due to unexpected trip interruption for at least 24 hours due to certain events covered in Garuda Indonesia Travel Insurance.
Special events, Missed Connection
Special events, Missed Connection: If during the Trip, You have to attend a prearranged wedding, funeral, conference or sporting event which cannot be delayed because of Your later arrival, but due to reasons covered in Garuda Indonesia Travel Insurance, You miss Your scheduled Common Carrier connection and are unable to arrive at Your destination by the time originally intended and You will miss or arrive late to the event, then We will pay the necessary and reasonable expenses incurred to enable You to use and alternative Common Carrier to arrive at Your destination in time.
Travel Delay: In the event that the pre-booked and paid Covered Transport in which You have arranged to Trip is delayed for at least 2 (two) consecutive hours from the departure time specified in the itinerary provided to You by the Covered Transport provider, and as a direct result of on e or more of the covered events covered under Garuda Indonesia Travel Insurance, then We will pay for each 2 ( two) hours delay.
Loss of Personal Baggage
Loss of Personal Baggage: If Your personal baggage items taken by You or purchased by You during Your Trip are subjected to loss or damage We will at Our sole discretion choose to either replace or repair the personal baggage item according to terms and condition of Garuda Indonesia Travel Insurance.
Baggage Delay : Provide allowance during the Trip, if Your baggage is delayed for collection at Your scheduled arrival port for more than 2 (two) continuous hours by the Covered Transport provider.
Fraudulent use of Credit CardLoss of Travel Document
Fraudulent use of Credit Card: Benefits provided when Your credit cards are stolen by any person other than Your Relative or your Travelling Companion and You are legally liable for payment arising out of the unauthorized use of Your credit cards which occurs after You have informed The issuer bank to block the credit card.
Loss of Travel Document
Loss of Travel Document: If Your Passport, Visa, Identity Card or Entry Permit is stolen or damaged during Your Trip, We will pay for the reasonable and necessary schedule transportation, accommodation and replacement charges and which You actually pay to secure an emergency Passport, Visa or relevant document to allow You to either continue with the Trip or return Home.
Theft of Personal Money
Theft of Personal Money: If Your personal money items (i.e. cash, bank notes, traveler’s checks and money orders only) which are taken with You on the Trip, are lost during the Trip as a direct result of theft or burglary. We will reimburse You up to the sum insured covered in Garuda Indonesia Travel Insurance.
Personal Accident Cover
Personal Accident Cover: We will pay/reimburse You if You suffer an Injury from an Accident that causes You to sustain Partial/Total Permanent Disability and/or death within 12 (twelve) months from the date of the Accident with written confirmation from a Medical Practitioner.
Personal Liability: Compensatory damages You become legally liable to pay because during Your Trip You injured someone, caused someone to die, or lost or damaged someone’s property, and this includes Your reasonable legal costs and expenses for settling and defending the Claim made against You as long as You have incurred and paid them with Our approval.
Car Rental Excess Charges
Car Rental Excess Charges : We will reimburse You for Car Rental Excess Charges subject to all of the The Rental Vehicle must be rented from a licensed The Rental Vehicle must be rented from a licensed The Rental Vehicle must be rented from a licensed, You are a named driver, Rental Vehicle solely for the carriage of non-fare paying passengers and You have purchased comprehensive motor insurance.
Car Rental Return Charges

Automatic Extending Cover
Automatic Extending Cover: We will automatically extend Your Period Of Insurance while You are Overseas, under this Policy at no additional Premium. For 10 consecutive days if through circumstances outside Your control, for 30 consecutive days if You are hospitalised or are quarantined Overseas, and for 48 consecutive hours if You are unfit to fly.
Worldwide 24 Hours Emergency Assistance
Worldwide 24 Hours Emergency Assistance: We have arranged with Our Assistance Company to give You various 24-Hour emergency Assistance services. This include medical advice, refferal to doctors, specialists, hospitals, lawyers adn interpreters and many more.

Terms and Conditions
Cancellation & Refund of premium is doable for below conditions:
- Double booking & payment of airfare
- Unsuccessful airfare ticket issuance, while payment is confirmed
For any other reasons, cancellation & refund is doable within the 24 hours of purchase, where you can receive a full refund of premium if you do not want this policy and have not filed a claim or departed on your trip.
