Public Liability

The following procedures should be followed in circumstances likely to give rise to a claim under your Public Liability insurance policy.

It is essential that you do everything to comply with these requirements and the requirements of loss adjusters ( if appointed ) so that your claims may be settled promptly.

Claim Procedures

In the event of an occurrence which is likely to give rise to a claim under this policy, the following steps are to be taken :

1. Take all necessary action to prevent further property damage or, in the case of personal injury assist with first-aid if required.

2. Do not, under any circumstances, admit liability or make any offer of compensation.

3. Report the incident immediately to PT. Asuransi ALLIANZ Utama Indonesia and await further instructions. PT. Asuransi ALLIANZ Utama Indonesia should be advised immediately by telex or telephone giving any details ( however brief ) that are available.

4. Complete a report of the incident which may be handed to the insurance adjusters or insurance company at a later date.

5. Upon receipt of any correspondence relating to the incident forward it immediately to PT. Asuransi ALLIANZ Utama Indonesia for incorporation in the claim and do not answer any such correspondence as this will be done by the Underwriters / Insurers.
