The following procedures should be followed in circumstances likely to give rise to a claim under your motor vehicle insurance program.

It is essential that you do everything to comply with these requirements and the requirements of the loss adjusters ( if appointed ) so that your claims may be settled promptly.

Claim Procedures

In the event of an occurrence which is likely to give rise to a claim under this policy, the following steps are to be taken :

1. Take all necessary action to minimize any further loss or damage.

2. Advise PT. Asuransi ALLIANZ Utama Indonesia immediately (within 72 hours) by telex or telephone giving any details ( however brief ) that are available.

3. Claims by Third Parties against you must be notified immediately. Under no circumstances should you admit liability. Upon receipt of correspondence relating to liability, forward it immediately to PT. Asuransi ALLIANZ Utama Indonesia. If any criminal persecution is filed against you notice must be forwarded to PT. Asuransi ALLIANZ Utama Indonesia within 72 hours.

4. Complete a report of the incident which may be handed to the insurance adjusters or insurance company at a later date.

5. Insurers or their representatives must be allowed the opportunity to inspect loss or damage before any repairs or alterations are effected.

6. Complete the necessary claim forms and supply all repair invoices and documentation as required.

In the event of Burglary / Theft :

1. Report any incident to the Police and to the next local authorities as soon as possible after discovery.

2. If the vehicle has been damaged during entry, immediate action should be taken to make it safe.

3. Steps should be taken to discover the guilty person (s) and an inventory of the property loss or damaged should be taken.
