Jens Reisch, president and director of PT Asuransi Allianz Life Indonesia, told BestWeek Asia/Pasifik that "the current individual life insurance penetration rate in Indonesia is around 3%, which is low."
Today there are around 7 million people out of the total population of 230 million in Indonesia with life insurance contracts, which means the Indonesian life insurance market still has "great opportunities" to grow, he said.
