28 October 2010, Topping off event was held in the site of Allianz Tower. As a moment of Topping Off, a handle was pulled off together by Joachim Wessling (CEO Allianz Life Indonesia), Don Nguyen (CEO Allianz Utama Indonesia), Jacob Oetama (President Commissioner KOMPAS Gramedia ), Teddy Surianto (President Director PT Medialand International), Hendra Hartono (CEO Leads Marketing Consultants).
This ceremony also marked the completion of building structure of this 28th floor Allianz Tower. Now, the construction will continue for the interior, electrical and infrastructure installations and, definitely, green area which will be allocated in 70% of 34,000 m2 building site.
“The Allianz Tower, an environmental-friendly concept building, has been selected as the head quarters for Allianz Indonesia as part of Allianz’s concerns to the environment. This decision is aligned to the Allianz Group’s global strategy to reduce carbon emission from its business operations by 20% in 2012,” said Joachim Wessling in his speech. Furthermore, Allianz Tower is expected to raise new spirit for the staff and gives a new One Stop Insurance Solutions experience for customers and business partners of Allianz in Indonesia.
