Allianz Indonesia through Allianz Peduli held a blood drive in Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Allianz Learning Center Summitmas 5th Floor Jakarta. This one day event was held with the support from Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) and succeeded to obtain 236 blood sacks from 318 participants. This quarterly event also received great attention both from employees around Summitmas and Allianz colleagues.
“Blood drive is the way you share your kindness to others. I am amazed that you really want to take your time to participate in this social activity,” said CEO of Allianz Indonesia Joachim Wessling in his opening speech. Furthermore, this event was also carried out almost simultaneously in other major cities like Padang, Semarang, Medan, Denpasar, Makasar, Bandung and Surabaya.
